This Privacy Policy describes how Imautotech ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PlayParty application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Google Account Sign-In Data
PlayParty uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to let you create an account and join rooms with friends. When you choose to sign in with Google, we request and receive the following information from your Google Account:
- Basic profile information — your name and profile picture, so friends can recognise you inside a watch room
- Email address — used as your account identifier and to send session notifications, invitations, and important service updates
- Google user ID — a unique identifier that allows us to recognise your account on subsequent sign-ins
We access this data only through Google's standard OAuth consent screen, and only the minimum scopes required for sign-in (openid, profile, email). You may decline these scopes at any time on the consent screen, and you can revoke access later from your Google Account settings.
Device & Usage Information
We may collect information about your device and how you interact with the App, including device model, operating system version, app version, session duration, and feature usage patterns. This data helps us improve performance and user experience.
Advertising Data (Mobile App)
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID, device information, and interaction data to deliver personalized ads. Information obtained from your Google Account through Sign-In is never used to serve or personalise advertisements. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Cookies & Advertising (Website)
Our website (playparty.space) uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in the EU).

Analytics Data
We use analytics services (including Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with the App. This may include information such as crash reports, performance metrics, screen views, and user engagement data.
Limited Use of Google User Data
PlayParty's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we affirm that information received from Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing features of PlayParty that are prominent in the App's user interface. We do not:
- Sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other unrelated purposes
- Use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalised, or interest-based ads
- Allow humans to read Google user data, except (a) with the user's explicit consent for specific messages, (b) for security investigations, to prevent abuse, or to comply with law, or (c) where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations
- Use Google user data to train or improve generalised or non-personalised machine-learning or AI models
How to Revoke Google Sign-In Access
You may revoke PlayParty's access to your Google Account at any time:
- Open myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Locate PlayParty under "Third-party apps with account access"
- Select it and choose Remove Access
Revoking access signs you out of PlayParty on all devices. You may also request permanent deletion of the data we hold by using the Contact Us page or emailing imautotech.support@gmail.com.
Permissions We Require
PlayParty lets you play live party games with friends in real time. To deliver this experience, the App requires the following permissions:
Camera Access
Used for video calls during game sessions, so you can see and react with friends while you play together. Camera access is only active when you explicitly enable it during a session.
Microphone Access
Used for voice chat during game sessions, enabling real-time audio communication with other participants. Microphone access is only active when you explicitly enable it during a session.
Notifications
Used to notify you when a friend starts a game, invites you to a room, or when a session is about to begin. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings at any time.
Internet Access
Required for real-time gameplay and video between participants, serving advertisements via AdMob, and sending analytics data.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and create your PlayParty account via Google Sign-In
- To display your Google profile name and picture inside watch rooms so friends recognise you
- To provide and maintain the multiplayer game and live video functionality
- To enable video and audio communication between participants
- To send notifications about invitations, sessions, and service updates to your verified email
- To display advertisements through Google AdMob (never personalised using Google Sign-In data)
- To analyse usage trends, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App
- To send crash reports and performance data for troubleshooting
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:
- Google AdMob - for advertising
- Firebase Analytics - for analytics and crash reporting
Data Retention
We retain collected data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Analytics and advertising data is managed and retained by the respective third-party service providers according to their own data retention policies.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
