Delete your account
You can permanently delete your PlayParty account and the data associated with it at any time.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open PlayParty and go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- Your PlayParty app data is removed and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
Email playparty.co@gmail.com from the address linked to your account (or include your display name / room history) with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting PlayParty app data removes:
- Your PlayParty settings, game interests and participation history.
- Your retained room-chat messages and PlayParty feedback.
- Your PlayParty presence, notification registrations and other app-specific records.
PlayParty and WatchParty share a sign-in identity, profile and friends list. Deleting PlayParty data preserves that shared identity, profile and friends list so your WatchParty access is not removed. The in-app confirmation explains this before you continue. To request deletion of the shared identity as well, contact us using the email option above and specify both apps.
PlayParty does not record live video or voice. Account and room identifiers and technical call diagnostics are separate from call media. Anonymized, aggregated analytics and records required by law may be retained. Deleting app data does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; manage subscriptions in your store account.
